Web Dev

Background
I was bummed that I never learned web development in college, even though I did take some computer science classes, so I taught myself web dev in Q2 2019.
Currently
I do less web development nowadays, however I still write landing pages for work at OpenVPN.
Since I do spend work hours writing HTML I didn't want to write this website fully from scratch; I decided instead to try using Webflow to construct it. Currently have mixed feelings. Webflow falls somewhere smack in the middle of numbskull sandbox and web IDE.

Aug 2017 — forever
I had been talking to my mother about the desperate need to scrap her business' website and the pandemic rolled around and gave me a chance to do so. We started by auditing, consolidating, and updating all existing content. I took what then remained and designed a concept for the site's look as well as page structure (and color pallette). Now she has a beautiful website for her optometry business instead of one with all the text made out of images (!!!).
